Who regulates the internet?

At the very beginning, as we know, the internet get start to be use before the low beyond it. It is not a normal starting of a mass media, it decides that everything on internet always comes earlier than the laws. To me, the law is the final but the most important line of internet regulation. And the countries can set laws base on their own internet development or media environment. The public organizisions is good at technical standard making because of widely public resource. But the executive power is too weak to force against the internet crime.

Personally, do you think there should be internet censorship?

Absolutely YES

Why?

The reason why a lot of the information not responsible published on internet, is the information disclosed is thought to be in a safe position (that is used on the network, network names, non-own real name), leading to some irresponsible statements frequently appear.Comprehensive regulatory on the behaviors of Internet users can technically make sure the responsibilities located to the individual, to make all the outgoing speech history is evidence-based.Another very important aspect is the technical and institutional regulatory on the behavior of Internet users makes a certain sense of deterrence. Then they will consider the results of the behavior they took in the proccess of internet visiting or using. Thereby reducing the production of irresponsible remarks behavior and guide Internet users surfing habits to develop healthy and appropriate sense of responsibility.

As far as I know, there are no owner, or a King of the World Wide Web on the net, but there are Internet regulation bodies that work behind the scenes, for example, the ISOC, the IAB, the PFIR, etc, this organization help to keep everything on the Internet running smoothly.

However, strictly speaking, on the Internet there is barely any regulation at all. So somehow, even if a countries like Malaysia want to pass a laws for the Internet, or to create an Internet censorship, the problem still lies in enforcing those laws beyond their own borders, this kind of problem is what make the act of trying to create a regulation for the Internet to be ineffective.

So, basically, I think it is a waste of a time trying to regulate, or control something so vast and boundless like the Internet. It wasn't owned by anyone or any country, so how did you expect to control something free that belong to everyone? Impossible.

1. Who regulates the internet?
I don't really know who but they said:" there are Internet regulation bodies that work behind the scenes to keep everything running semi-smoothly."

2.Personally, do you think there should be internet censorship?
I think no need a internet censorship.

3. Why?
This is because that thing really trouble. That censorship create for what use?? To prevent cyber crime ?? to prevent the case like in the at the blog, prince Harry naked picture. That why I said internet censorship are useless, trouble and annoying, it just useful for a litter group of people only like the royal, film star and other.
