Topic 2

I'm aware of this issue, and I believe that a lot of people also aware of this, but in reality, how many people actually realize the potential danger that this issue may bring?

If I have to give an example, lets look at us Malaysian, we know that our personal security and information are at risk, but in general, how many people did take this issue seriously? Minority.

This probably caused by the safe situation and environment that we have in Malaysia. Here, we barely have any cyber crime nor cases related to cyber crime, unlike what happen in the United States where crimes related to personal information and security is the norm, most social network user in United Stated barely put any pictures nor personal information in their profile to avoid any information leaked.

In February 2012, people from Malaysia was recorded as the 2nd most active in using Facebook in Southeast Asia, and the highest status poster and photo uploader also came from Malaysia, and to be exact, this issue not only related to Facebook alone, there are plenty social network site that exist on the net, just imagine how much potential danger exist with that.

So, back to the question, should we stay on Facebook after knowing this?
It depends, if you could stick at using Facebook as solely as social media, and not as a tool to tell the whole world everything about you, by any means, keep using it.
