1. What is ACT114A?
This mean as of April 1, 2007, Act 114 of 2006 has required that ALL prospective employees of public and private schools, including their independent contractors and their employees, but excluding employees who do not have direct contact with students, undergo background checks.  Applicants are required to submit their background check reports to their prospective public and private school employers.  The law also requires student teachers to undergo background checks and present their reports to their higher education institution prior to field experience. 

 2. How would ACT114A affect you?
Yes. This will affect me because this cause a lot of problem. For example one post from my friend use my name then i will be defamation.

 3. Does it really matter? 
Yes, cause a lot of innocent trouble 

 4. Should you be concerned?
Yes, this kind of act will cause thousand million of problem and make the social more doom.

    Section 114A is really fool by Malaysia's law, because of a bit of comment and then sued by others, and on court by countinue. We must be unity and give us back freedom of speech.

    I have to say...my friend....you invoked the wrong reference here
    the content invoked here is the" Background Checks" (Act 114 and Act 24),even not in Malaysian legal system...it is in the Pennsylvania local low in the U.S.

    Background check? Which act is this? I don't remember ever needed to undergo a background check before, or do we?
